Great job re the imbalance of omega-6 and omega-3 in most Western diets, and ditto the sources of omega-3. Oily fish in particular is considered the best source of the long-chain omega-3 so crucial to human health. But some either do not care for fish, cannot eat it frequently enough or are concerned about waterborne toxins. That’s why fish-oil supplements can be helpful – as has by this time been recognized by most of the world’s medical establishment. We invite interested readers to learn more about fish oil and the voluminous independent scientific research that backs it up on our web sites, www.ExpertOmega3.com and www.Omegafort.com.

Hey Will,
Thanks for asking! You should really check out our "<a href="http://rubberbanditz.com/info-center/which-band-is-right-for-me/" title="Which Band is Right For Me?" rel="nofollow">Which band is right for me</a>" page in our Info Center. Basically as the band stretches, the resistance increases, giving you more assistance at the bottom of the pull up when you need it most. so the Monster band that I think you were considering, would probably give closer to 91kg at the bottom of the pull up and 36kg at the top, but thats not an exact amount, just an estimate. if you contact me at <a href="mailto:jason@rubberbanditz.com" rel="nofollow">jason@rubberbanditz.com</a>, I'd be happy to give you more info about the best band for you! - Jason

I'm curious; the bands on amazon.co.uk say they provide resistance of for example '36kg to 91kg' - Does that mean that used in different ways they provide different resistances? Ideally I'd like them to provide me about 40kg resistance as I'm very heavy at the moment and losing weight but don't want to wait before starting chin-ups again. Any guidance?

Tried various ways to increase my pull ups to no avail. So I'm going to buy a power band and try the 7 weeks thing. Glad I found this site. I'm currently on 2-3 unassisted as you were. You say you got to 30 in a few months. I'm just wondering how you did that. Following the program should give you ~15 after 12 weeks. Did you start further on? Also, were you doing this as part of a full training plan or focusing solely on pull ups?

Any help would be great as I want to progress as you have and it seems I'm starting where you did.
