ROBUST/POWER Resistance Bands
This mighty band combo is sure to give you all of the resistance (or assistance) you can handle. The ROBUST BAND is 8 oz (.23 kg) 1 1/8” wide and provides approximately 40-80 lbs (23-90 kg) of resistance. This wide band is designed for dynamic workouts with our without weights. In addition to pullups, the robust band is also well suited for Olympic lifts and various functional training exercises found in the user manual.
The POWER BAND is 1.75″ wide and provides approximately 50-120 lbs of resistance. This band is our single most popular CrossFit band for assisted pullups. Since these heavy duty bands are often used in conjunction with free weights to offer natural ascending resistances levels they have also become popular for powerlifting band training. Simply attach the bands to weight bars, benches or squat racks for added resistance on any lifts.
This combination gives you three different levels of PULL-UP BAND assistance (one with the power band, one with the robust band, and one with both bands). This accommodates gradual increases in your strength and allows you to do drop sets – i.e. doing a set of pullups with just the power band until you can’t do any more reps and then adding the robust band to eek out a few more reps.
NOTE: Colors may vary. All circular exercise bands are 41″ (104 cm) in length and come in three sizes with varying resistances. Our natural rubber latex is over 99.998% free of soluble proteins (latex allergens). Effects of use by people with latex sensitivity is unknown and not recommended.
