Women generally have different workout goals than men. Most seek to look more toned and fit rather than muscular and bulky. The beautiful thing about resistance bands is that they are perfect to accomplish the workout goals of both men and women.

When working with bands, the resistance level, tension, and number of reps can be adjusted in order to provide a leaner or bulkier look. For women looking to tone up their arms and legs, it’s usually a good idea to increase the number of reps and decrease the tension or resistance level. The most important thing is to feel the resistance on each repetition and maintain good form through the entire range of motion.
